Email & Compact uses 96 DPI and 70% JPEG quality. Choose only the pages the recipient needs. If text is too small, move to Web & Social Media and inspect one exported image. There is no universal safe attachment size; check your email provider’s limit and the actual output size.
Web: match the display size
Web & Social Media uses 150 DPI and 85% JPEG quality. Use enough pixels for the image’s intended placement without exporting a much larger file than necessary. Fine text may need a larger image or PNG through the Print preset. When publishing, add descriptive alternative text in your website editor.
Slides: use the Presentation preset
Presentation / Slide Deck fits a page inside a white 1920×1080 image at 85% JPEG quality. The page keeps its proportions rather than being stretched or cut to fill the frame. A portrait page will leave white space at the sides; crop the source view only if that suits your content.
Choose delivery and preserve the source
Save a single JPG when you need one illustration. Use ZIP for a group of pages, then extract the images before inserting them into another app. WhatsApp sharing may use the device’s share sheet or ask you to attach a downloaded image manually. Keep the PDF for selectable text and future editing; flat images cannot replace those document features.
