How to Crop and Rotate PDF Pages Before Exporting
Crop unwanted borders and rotate PDF pages in the preview before JPG export. Learn how page edits affect output without modifying the original PDF.
Choose the page to edit
Click a thumbnail in the Pages panel to open its preview. Preview selection and export selection are separate: check the page’s box if you want it included in conversion. Zoom controls help you inspect the page before making edits.
Rotate in quarter turns
Choose Rotate 90° to turn the active page; repeat to reach the orientation you need. Rotation affects the exported page image, while the source PDF on your device stays unchanged. Rotating after cropping clears that page’s crop so the coordinates do not describe the wrong orientation.
Draw a crop region
Choose Crop this page and drag across the preview. The highlighted region becomes the exported image area. Use Clear crop to restore the whole page. Very small accidental selections are ignored. Cropping removes borders or isolates an illustration; it does not edit the underlying PDF text or straighten a photographed sheet.
Review batch edits and presentation output
Click each batch filename to apply its own crop and rotation. Saved edits follow the corresponding PDF. The Presentation preset fits the edited page inside a white 1920×1080 canvas without stretching it; other presets export the edited page’s dimensions. Compare a sample image before creating the full ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Does cropping change my original PDF?
No. It changes the exported image area only.
Why did my crop disappear after rotation?
Rotating clears that page’s crop so you can draw a new region in the correct orientation.
